In order to foster focus and organization, journals can be created within five different categories: Personal, Health, Work, Learning, or Relationships. Adding a personal touch is made easy with the app's extensive customization options. Users can choose from a broad range of unique designs to customize the look and feel of their journals. Background images, patterns, frames, journal bands, and stickers can all be combined in endless combinations to make each journal feel truly individual.

For those looking to share their journaling experience with others, Seasons offers the ability to invite friends, family, therapists, coaches, or mentors to form group journals. This feature is particularly useful for fostering motivation and accountability. Additional supportive features include positive affirmation notifications and calendar scheduling—making journaling an integral part of self-care routines.

The app also offers a range of free features that allow users to fully utilize its capabilities. These include one free journal, unlimited posts, rich text editing, photo posts, audio recordings, date editing, journaling prompts, keyword search functionality, habit frequency tracking on a calendar, basic mood tracking, group journaling options, daily affirmations, calendar scheduling, and Face ID/Passcode protection.

Additionally, Seasons provides in-app purchases for those seeking even greater customization and functionality. Users have the option to subscribe to Seasons Premium, which offers unlimited journals, full mood tracking reports, and unlimited journal customization. Furthermore, individual customization items such as background images, patterns, frames, bands, stickers, moods, and reactions can also be purchased.

The Seasons Premium subscription is priced at $24.99 USD per year or $16.99 USD per 6 months. It is important to note that prices are subject to change. If not canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription will automatically renew. Payment will be charged to the user's iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase. It is possible to manage Seasons Premium subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal through the Account Settings section after purchase.
